When you need to play a MOV file, you can right click on it and click Open with. Go to the QuickTime Player download page and install a suitable version on your Windows 10 computer. Since then of course, as per their tech I updated the NVIDIA graphics driver and also updated Windows 10. When you come across a MOV file in Windows 10, you can rely on QuickTime to play it.
